Felician graduate Erik Kotynski was hired as the lead assistant for the Golden Falcons under Roger Stephens in August 2012, named interim head coach in September 2014, and promoted to permanent head coach in January 2015. Under Kotynski's watch, the Golden Falcons have have claimed five all-conference and 12 academic all-conference athletes as well as two CACC Team Sportsmanship Awards.

A four-year midfielder for the Golden Falcons, Kotynski was a starter on the 2001 Felician squad which won the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference championship and the NAIA Region X title. He earned a B.A. in elementary education in 2002. After college, he played two seasons in the USL PDL.

Kotynski began his collegiate coaching career as an assistant at New Jersey City University in 2008 and 2009. He served two seasons under Roger Stephens with the Golden Falcons before being promoted two games into the 2014 campaign. Kotynski has also been an assistant with Icon FC of the semi-professional American Soccer League. He remains active as a player in the U.S. Adult Soccer Association.

Kotynski was an all-state performer at Queen of Peace High School of North Arlington. He resides in Lyndhurst.
