Jessie Cerdas joined the Felician men's soccer coaching staff in March of 2017, fresh off of his playing career with the Golden Falcons.

Cerdas is a coach and trainer with Coastal Sports New Jersey and TSF Academy. In four years with Coastal, he has trained athletes from U8 to U18. Among the club teams he has coached are the U18 boys for Bloomfield SC and Jersey Crew. His Bloomfield side won the 2018 U19 EDP Cup Spring Showcase. He joined TSF early in 2018 and was handed the reins of the U15, U16 and U18 boys squads from Tenafly SC.

He has previously coached for Fastrack Soccer, LLC, and the Ridgefield Park Soccer Assocation, and been a preseason assistant with Cresskill High School and Dumont High.

A 2013 graduate of Ridgefield Park High, Cerdas began his collegiate career at Burlington County College (now Rowan College at Burlington County). His 2014 BCC squad won conference and regional championships, and reached the NJCAA Division 1 national tournament for the first time in 17 years. He played in 33 games at defender, starting 30, in two seasons for coach Kotnyski and Felician.

Born in Queens, N.Y., Cerdas spent part of his childhood in Costa Rica. He earned a B.S. in management from Felician with a minor in computer science in 2017. He possesses an NSCAA High School Diploma in System & Tactics, and earned a USSF 'D' coaching license in August 2018. He resides in Little Ferry.
