LYNDHURST, N.J. – Junior second baseman Danny Healey Jr. (Brookhaven, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) drove in seven runs to lead the Felician University baseball team to 9-3 and 8-4 victories over visiting Goldey-Beacom College during the teams' Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference doubleheader on Monday afternoon at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

Senior shortstop L.T. Struble (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) went 5 for 7 with five runs scored and four stolen bases on the day for Felician (12-14, 6-2 CACC), which is riding a season-long four-game winning streak. Golden Falcon sophomore left fielder Anthony Condito (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) was 4 for 4 plus a walk.

Felician lead, 2-1, in the middle of the fourth inning of Game 1 before receiving a Mike Martinez (Union City, N.J./Bergen Catholic) RBI triple and a sacrifice fly from Sean Downey (Elizabeth, N.J./Elizabeth) in the bottom half. The Golden Falcons then took control with four fifth-inning runs, using four hits, a wild pitch and a fielder's choice grounder.

Golden Falcons sophomore right-hander Michael Gutierrez (Garfield, N.J./Garfield) (3-3) gave up only Jeff Gillis' (Hockessin, Del./Delaware Military Academy) fourth-inning sacrifice fly and two unearned runs in the sixth. He exited after piling up 126 pitches (71 strikes) through six innings, allowing four hits and three walks while striking out 11 batters.

Felician senior righty Mike Holland (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) tossed the final three innings, his longest career outing. He gave up no runs on two hits, struck out two and walked none, and was credited with his first collegiate save.

Felician gave starting pitcher Jacob Nappi (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank Regional) four runs of support in the third inning of Game 2, a scheduled seven-inning affair. With two outs, Healey broke the scoreless tie with a three-run triple to straightaway center field. He scored on a Jordan Folgers (Moriches, N.Y./St. Anthony's) triple.

The Golden Falcons were ahead, 5-1, in the sixth when GBC freshman Connor Megginson (Harbeson, Del./Hogdson Vo-Tech) reached Nappi for a three-run triple on a full count. A walk to the next hitter ended Nappi's day, but reliver Nick Nardulli (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) induced a flyout to keep the hosts ahead by one.

Felician then provided Nardulli three runs of insurance in the bottom of the sixth on a pinch-hit RBI double by Condito followed by Healey's two-run single. Nardulli issued a one-out walk in the seventh but followed with a game-ending ground-ball double play for his fourth save.

Nappi (3-3) yielded four runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and one walk in his 5 2/3 frames. Healey was 3 for 4 with five RBI and junior Jasson Corniel (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic/CENAPEC) collected two hits for the Golden Falcons.

The Golden Falcons and Lightning complete their four-game CACC series with a doubleheader on Friday in Hockessin, Del., at noon.
