SEWELL, N.J. – Felician College junior Sabrina Roldan (Woodbridge, N.J./Woodbridge) placed 25th out of 99 entries at the Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Women's Cross-Country Invitational, hosted by Rowan College-Gloucester County on Saturday afternoon.
Roldan's time of 25 minutes, 47 seconds, was among the top 25 6,000-meter races in Felician history. She crossed the finish line 1:14 ahead of her nearest teammate, senior Michelle Camacho (Moonachie, N.J./Wood-Ridge), who came in 44th.
Also completing the race for the Golden Falcons were juniors Kate Rohsler (Fredon, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) (52nd, 27:57) and Natasha Gonel (Howell, N.J./Howell) (79th, 31:54). Felician did not receive a team score.
Rowan University put all seven of its entrants among the top 21 finishers to win the team championship with 30 points. Runner-up Philadelphia University scored 75 points. Ten complete teams entered the race. Rowan's Christin Bettis was the individual champion with a time of 23:13, crossing the finish line seven seconds ahead of teammate Catherine Dougherty.
