HOLMDEL, N.J. -- Three members of the Felician College women's cross-country team joined a field rife with Division I competition at the Monmouth University Invitational on Saturday morning at Holmdel Park.
For the second consecutive week, junior Alyssa Collier (Toms River, NJ) was Felician's frontrunner. Collier placed 95th out of 157 entrants, completing the 5,000-meter (3.1-mile) course in 21 minutes, 38 seconds.
Freshman Sylvia Bialy (Lodi, NJ) ran 130th in 23:14. Classmate Lianne Rossi (Nutley, NJ) made her collegiate debut and finished in 148th place with a time of 25:06. Felician did not receive a team score.
All but one of of the 12 schools that fielded complete teams were Division-I programs. Quinnipiac University won the team title with 43 points, and Rose Mascoli of East Stroudsburg University took individual honors in 18:12. Click here for complete results.
