RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College junior Emily Gleason (East Hanover, NJ/Morris Catholic) has been named to the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team.
The All-Tournament Team was announced at the conclusion of the CACC Championship Game on Saturday afternoon at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School in Plymouth Meeting, Pa. The team was selected by conference media relations staff in consultation with the participating head coaches. The 5-foot-3 Gleason was credited by the Felician coaches with setting up several chances for the Golden Falcons from her outside midfield spot in their 3-1 CACC quarterfinal loss to Dominican (N.Y.) College on Nov. 1. On the season, Gleason started all 18 matches, and was fourth on the team in scoring with eight points on two goals and four assists.
The Golden Falcons finished with an 11-6-1 overall won-lost-tied record, and ended up in second place in the CACC table with a 9-3 league mark. They reached the CACC Tournament for the fourth consecutive year and turned in the program's first winning season since 2001.
