Local Community Invited To Felician Basketball "Green-Out" On Jan. 20

RUTHERFORD, N.J.Dr. Anne M. Prisco, President of Felician University, is inviting the Felician and Bergen County communities to enjoy the University's Fourth Annual Basketball "Green-Out" on Wednesday, January 20, when the Golden Falcon women's and men's teams host Bloomfield College. The women's game tips off at 5:30 p.m. with men's action to follow at 8 p.m.

In the spirit of the event, both Felician teams will wear their road green uniforms. Golden Falcon fans are also encouraged to wear dark green. Felician students in attendance will receive Green-Out T-shirts while supplies last. Complimentary refreshments will be served to all fans on the gymnasium stage from halftime of the women's game until halftime of the men's contest.

Admission is free for Felician faculty, staff, students and alumni with proper identification. Tickets for the general public will cost $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens, and will be available on the day of the event beginning at 4:45 p.m. One ticket gains admission to both games.

The Felician women, coached by Steve Fagan, and coach Ivan Lewis' Golden Falcon men will be looking to gain ground in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference playoff races.
