RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College department of athletics expects to provide a free live video stream for all 2013-14 home basketball games, beginning with Friday evening's women's contest against Southern Connecticut State University at 6 p.m.
The link to watch both women's and men's games will be http://www.ustream.tv/channel/fc-basketball. The stream will consist of the raw coach's video shot from a single camera, without graphics or production.
Felician has also hired local broadcasting talent Pete Mundo to call the play-by-play on the stream for selected games. Mundo's Felician broadcast schedule is listed below.
A 2010 graduate of Villanova University, Mundo is a sports anchor for WCBS Newsradio 880 and Bloomberg radio. He also anchors at WFAN Sports Radio 660 and the CBS Sports Radio Network, and is a sports columnist for The Independent newspaper of East Hampton, N.Y. Mundo recently completed his first season of play-by-play work for Wagner College football.
Felician public relations intern Nick Delahanty is slated to deliver color commentary alongside Mundo.
The Felician sports information office also expects to continue its basketball Live Stats feed. Felician College Live Stats is provided in partnership with Presto Sports. Users interested in viewing the feed should go to http://livestats.prestosports.com/felician, then click "Live Stats" next to the game they wish to view.
Live Stats is a chronological online feed of each statistical event in a game as it happens, shown with a scoreboard interface.
The providing of both Live Stats and the video stream will be dependent upon the sports information office having the necessary staffing and Internet connection at game time. Scoring/statistical decisions shown on Live Stats are subject to change and should be considered unofficial.
