Men's Cross-Country Earns Preseason Regional Ranking

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men's cross-country team, guided by 10th-year head coach John Brennan, has been granted a pre-season ranking of No. 9 in the NCAA Division II East Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association.

Felician claimed the 2010 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference team championship, and earned a final regional ranking of No. 10 a year ago. Four all-conference performers return from that squad: senior James Vander Wiele (Pequannock, NJ/Pequannock Twp.) and juniors Rob Albano (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock Twp.), Tim Kicha (Saddle Brook, NJ/Saddle Brook), and Taylor Trumbetti (Woodcliff Lake, NJ/Pascack Hills).

The Golden Falcons are the only CACC school in the pre-season East Region top 10. Felician has won eight CACC championships in its 11-year history.
