RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician University men's soccer student-athletes Joe Sartori (Wood-Ridge, N.J./Wood-Ridge) and Kojo Yeboah (Teaneck, N.J./Teaneck) have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Fall 2017 All-Academic Team, the CACC announced today. Sartori earns the honor for the first time in his career, while Yeboah is a third-time recipient.
In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic Team, recipients must have used a season of eligibility while participating in a CACC fall championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, be a second-year student-athlete at their current school, and have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher at the end of the immediate preceding term.
Sartori, a sophomore goalkeeper, appeared in three games, starting two. He went 0-2 with a 4.10 goals-against average, making 13 saves in 175 minutes. He had a career-high seven saves in a 2-1, double-overtime loss to Saint Michael's College on October 7. Sartori is a 2016 graduate of Wood-Ridge High. She carries a 3.88 GPA as a business administration major.
Yeboah, a senior forward, is one of 12 student-athletes on the list to be honored three times, the most possible in one sport. He played in two games during his final season as a Golden Falcon. Yeboah, a 2014 Teaneck High graduate, owns a 3.69 GPA while majoring in social and behavioral sciences.
Felician has now has had 13 student-athletes earn Academic All-CACC honors this academic year.
