Hoops Coaches To Broadcast CACC Semis

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Both Felician College basketball coaches will make their collegiate broadcasting debuts on Friday when they are scheduled to provide color commentary on the Internet video webcast of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference semifinals on CACC TV.

Felician men's coach David DeFerrari of Secaucus will join the call for the second men's semifinal at 2 p.m. pitting Goldey-Beacom College against Dominican (N.Y.) College. Fans can listen for free by accessing http://cacctv.nmtvsports.com. DeFerrari will join play-by-play voice Chris Granozio live from the George R. Newman Center on the campus of Caldwell College in Caldwell.

DeFerrari recently completed his third season at Felician, where he is 45-39. He was named the Met Writers Division II Coach of the Year in 2010 after guiding the Golden Falcons to their first CACC Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance.

Following the men's action, Felician women's coach Steve Fagan of Howell will assist play-by-play man Jerry Milani on both CACC women's semifinal games, also at Caldwell. Milani and Fagan will call the action as Holy Family University takes on the host Cougars at 5 p.m. and the University of the Sciences plays Dominican at 7. Once again, http://cacctv.nmtvsports.com is the site for the broadcast.

Fagan is 56-52 in four years at Felician. He was named the 2012 CACC Coach of the Year after the Golden Falcons won the North Division regular season title.
