RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College senior D.J. Stinsman (Egg Harbor Township, NJ/Egg Harbor Township) has been selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball Co-Pitcher of the Week, the CACC announced today.

Stinsman, a 6-foot-2 right-hander, made two appearances last week. He started and earned the victory in Felician's conference finale on May 2, allowing one run on four hits in six innings against Concordia (N.Y.) College. He followed that effort up with two scoreless innings of relief in the Golden Falcons' 1-0 Game 2 loss to No. 20 nationally-ranked Southern New Hampshire University on Sunday. He posted an opponent batting average of .172 for the week.

On the season, Stinsman has appeared in 16 games, starting 10. He is 5-4 with a 3.02 earned-run average and a .199 opponent batting average. In 65 2/3 innings, he has given up 47 hits, struck out 48 batters and walked 33. Stinsman is a 2007 graduate of Egg Harbor Township High. He shared this week's honor with Justin DeLong of Wilmington (Del.) University

Stinsman is in his first season with Felician after transferring from St. Andrews University. He has also pitched one season each for Dominican (N.Y.) College and Camden County College.

Stinsman is the fourth Golden Falcon right-hander this season to be named CACC Pitcher of the Week. Senior Kenny Monteith (Denville, NJ/Morristown-Beard) was honored on Feb. 28, and sophomore Stephen Paladino (Brooklyn, NY/St. Peter's) received the award on Apr. 10. Senior Brian Dudzinski (Lincroft, NJ/Middletown South) was selected for the April 24 recognition.

Felician is a member of NCAA Division II. The Golden Falcons (25-22) won the CACC regular-season title with a 16-4 conference record, and begin league playoff action on Thursday at noon in New Castle, Del.

Also on Tuesday, Felician junior catcher Kevin Whitehead (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) and freshman relief pitcher Matthew Facendo (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) were named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll. More information is available at
