9/7/10 MEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY - Albano Chosen CACC Runner of the Week
Rob AlbanoRUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College sophomore Rob Albano of Pompton Plains has been chosen as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Cross-Country Runner of the Week, the CACC announced today. The honor was part of the first set of weekly awards handed out for the 2010 season.

Albano finished second out of 208 entrants in the Delaware Valley College Invitational on Saturday. He ran the 8,000-meter course in 26 minutes, 48 seconds, and was one of three Felician entrants in the top 10. The Golden Falcons placed second out of 22 schools in the team standings.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the men's soccer match at Dominican (N.Y.) College listed for Tue., Oct. 5, will instead be played on Sat., Sept. 18 at noon on the Dominican campus.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The University of Bridgeport scored the game-winning goal an instant before time expired to defeat visiting Felician College, 2-1, in the final match of the Bridgeport Classic on Saturday night at Knights Field.
