CALDWELL, N.J. -- The Felician College men's soccer team was out-shot, 18-11, in a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss to host Caldwell College on Tuesday afternoon at Caldwell Field.

Caldwell (6-3, 3-0) struck in the 18th minute when Chad Bennett (Kingston Jamaica) got free in the Felician box and was able to dribble around Felician goalkeeper Paulo DosSantos (Toronto, Ontario) and put the ball past a diving defender. Despite a 10-4 shot disadvantage, the Golden Falcons kept the deficit at 1-0 into halftime, then appeared to have the better of play for much of the early stages of the second half.

The Cougar defense denied Felician long enough for its offense to secure the victory, as Justin Miller (Monroe, NJ), and Luis Sartorio (Asuncion, Paraguay) scored in the 75th and 83rd minutes, respectively. Miller finished with a goal and an assist for Caldwell, and goalkeeper John Plaugic (Kearny, NJ) earned the shutout with five saves. DosSantos was credited with five saves for Felician (3-4, 1-2).
