Felician Athletics - 9/23/08 WOMEN'S SOCCER - Petry Adds ECAC Weekly Honor

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College senior Lindsey Petry of Newton has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the ECAC announced today.

Petry, a 5-foot-8 central midfielder, recorded three goals and five assists during a 3-0 week for the Golden Falcons. She scored the game-winning goal in two of three games and assisted on it in the other. Her 11 points leads the Golden Falcons on the year, and her five assists is tied for tops in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. Petry is a 2004 graduate of Kittatinny Regional.

The ECAC is the nation’s largest athletic conference, with 321 member institutions from all three NCAA Divisions, including 41 from Division II stretching from New Hampshire to Delaware. Petry was chosen as CACC Player of the Week on Monday.
