RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Concordia (N.Y.) Felician was playing its first home match of the season.

Felician (0-5) allowed a .333 attack percentage in Set 1, then yielded the final seven points of Set 2. The Golden Falcons went down to a similar fate in the final set, which was tied for the ninth time at 15-15 before Concordia rattled off 10 of the final 12 points.

Freshman Juliann Gillespie (Clarkston, MI/Clarkston) posted 15 kills and eight digs for the Clippers (1-4). Classmate Jaymee Wise (Irvine, CA/Woodbridge) had 24 assists, 15 digs and five aces. Laura Peskosky (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) topped the hosts with seven kills.
