RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Seven home games, 11 road games, and one neutral site contest make up the 2008 Felician College men’s soccer schedule, which was released today.

Led by second-year head coach Patrick Snyder, Felician will play its 19-match slate entirely against Division II opponents, including seven teams that appeared in the final 2007 regional rankings. The Golden Falcons’ Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schedule has increased from nine to 10 matches due to the addition of Philadelphia University (away, Oct. 21) as a men’s soccer-playing member of the league.

“Our schedule is going to be a tough one,” Snyder said. Opening with the St. Michael’s tournament (Aug. 29-30) is going to be a test right away, and going on the road for 12 games will make us stronger. But our goals are not changing -- we want to make the playoffs this season. We finished up strong last season and we want to continue where we left off.”

Felician (3-14-3, 2-5-2 in 2007) will play its final five games of the season on the road, including its last three CACC affairs. The Golden Falcons are scheduled to finish 2008 at four-time defending CACC regular-season champion Dominican (N.Y.) College on Oct. 28.
