AVONDALE, Pa. -- The Felician College golf team sits in 16th place after the first day of competition on Monday at the two-day Goldey-Beacom College Invitational at Hartefeld National Country Club.
Freshman Joe Leardo (Belleville, NJ/Belleville) leads the Felician delegation with an 18-hole round of 85, tying him for 60th place overall. The Golden Falcons' four-man total of 378 places them seventh out of seven Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference schools in attendance.
Indiana (Pa.) University tops the team standings with a 10-over par total of 298. Garrett Beyor of American International College and Brant Kummerfeld of Adelphi University shared Monday's medalist honors, both shooting one-under 71.
