3/28/07 GOLF - Felician Begins Spring Season, Loses Pair Of Duals Print E-mail
PHILADELPHIA -- Freshman Joe Leardo (Belleville, NJ/Belleville) shot a nine-over-par 79, but the Felician College golf team lost a pair of dual matches on Friday afternoon in its first meet of the spring season. The event was hosted by Holy Family University at Torresdale-Frankford Country Club.

Felician (0-3) posted an 18-hole, four-man total of 373 to finish 50 strokes back of the day's team winner, Nyack College. The host Tigers shot 330. Dominican (N.Y.) College also competed, but fielded an incomplete team.

Also scoring for the Golden Falcons were sophomore Joe Peters (Barnegat, NJ/Southern Regional) with an 89, sophomore Rob Young (Glendale, NY/Cathedral Prep) (91) and senior Greg Patullo (South Amboy, NJ/Bishop Ahr) (114).
