FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Helped by 11 first-inning runs, Felician College pitchers B.J. Senna (Wallingford, CT) and Rob Collazo (Newark, NJ) combined on a seven-hit shutout in a 15-0 non-conference victory over Saint Michael's College during the Gene Cusic Collegiate Baseball Classic on Monday afternoon at Terry Park.

Felician (5-7) needed only five hits for its game-opening rally, which was aided by four hit-batsmen, two wild pitches, a walk, a balk, and an error. Mike Buckelew (Whitehouse Station, NJ) had a two-run single, Vinnie DiBenedetti (Forked River, NJ) a two-run triple, and Dave Schoer (Manalapan, NJ) a two-run double in the frame.

Senna (2-1), a junior right-hander, went on to yield three hits over six innings. He struck out eight batters and walked two. Collazo allowed four hits in the final three innings for his first career save. Buckelew finished 3 for 4 with five runs batted in, and Joey Algieri (New Milford, NJ) and Mike Libretta (Staten Island, NY) also had three hits apiece for the Golden Falcons. Catcher Jeff Dukette (Northfield, VT) went 2 for 4 for the Division II independent Purple Knights (2-2).

The teams combined to use 41 players in the game.
