B.J. Senna is the CACC Pitcher of the Week for March 3.
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College junior B.J. Senna of Wallingford, Conn., has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week, the CACC announced today. Today marked the first set of CACC baseball weekly honors for the 2008 season.

The conference included all games played from the beginning of the season for today’s awards. Senna, a 6-foot-0 right-hander, earned a victory over Dowling College, currently the fifth-ranked team in the Northeast Region of NCAA Division II, on Feb. 23. Making his first start of the season, he pitched five scoreless innings, allowing four hits, striking out five batters, and walking three. All four hits were singles.

Senna pitched to a 5-1 record in 2007, and is 6-5 with 95 strikeouts in 93 2/3 innings as a collegian. He is a 2005 graduate of Sheehan High. Also on Monday, Felician sophomore catcher Marcos Torres of Miami, Fla., was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll. Click here for more information.
