RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College baseball team is ranked 10th in the NCAA Division II Northeast Region, according to the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America poll released on Monday.
Felician is ranked regionally for the first time since late in the 2006 regular season, and is one of three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference teams to appear in this week’s poll. Coach Chris Langan and the Golden Falcons own a 3-2 won-lost record, including a victory over regional No. 5 Dowling College on Feb. 23, and end a seven-day layoff with a game at Dowling this afternoon.
Today marks the first regional ranking for any Felician squad this academic year. National No. 5 Franklin Pierce College is the unanimous top team in the Northeast.
