Felician Athletics - 2/27/08 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL - Felician Wins Sportsmanship Award

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College was selected the co-winner of the 2008 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Team Sportsmanship Award, according to balloting released today.

The conference’s 13 head coaches voted on the award, and were asked to choose the program that best exemplified the spirit of competition and sportsmanship throughout the season. Felician shared the award with CACC newcomer Chestnut Hill College.

Today marks the first Team Sportsmanship Award for the women’s basketball program’s during its nine-year membership in the CACC. The Golden Falcons, coached by Ben DiNallo Jr., complete their season tonight at Bloomfield College.
