PHILADELPHIA -- Felician College fell behind, 21-5, eight minutes into an eventual 85-53 CACC interdivisional women's basketball loss to host Philadelphia University on Saturday afternoon at the Gallagher Center.

Felician (3-21, 1-13), halted Philadelphia's game opening run by scoring six consecutive points, but the Rams responded with their own 7-0 run for a 28-11 lead, which they extended to 42-18 at halftime. Philadephia out-shot the Golden Falcons, 50-23 percent, in the opening period, with Felician committing 15 turnovers.

The second half was much cleaner, as Felician shot 59 percent from the floor, but with the Rams converting at a 54-percent clip, the Golden Falcons never got their deficit lower than 24 points. Ashley Webster (Philadelphia, PA/Cheltenham) topped the winners with 18 points and eight rebounds, and Jessica Romano (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) scored 16 points with nine rebounds. The Rams (15-8, 8-6) helped force 27 Felician turnovers for the day.

Junior Amanda Bartee (Jersey City, NJ/St. Mary) (5-8 FG) led Felician with 12 points and six rebounds, while Janelle Biamonte (Secaucus, NJ/Marist) also scored 12 points.
