WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- Felician College suffered a 53-23 rebounding disadvantage in its 75-48 non-conference men's basketball loss to host West Chester University on Sunday afternoon at the Hollinger Field House.
West Chester (5-4) took control by out-shooting Felician, 58-21 percent, in the first half. Trailing 8-6 with 4:14 gone by in the game, the Golden Rams proceeded to score 30 of the game's next 34 points over a 14-minute stretch, and took a 40-18 edge into halftime. The Golden Falcons never cut their deficit under 20 points in period two and trailed by as many as 33. Despite 24 turnovers, WCU shot 52 percent for the day and held Felician (5-6) to 31 percent from the field (14 percent from three-point range).
WCU received 22 points and 17 rebounds from senior forward Lenwood Greenwood (Philadelphia, PA) and 14 points and seven assists from Kehinde Roberts (London, England). Freshman Kashiff Foster (Somerset, NJ) (5-7 FG) topped the Golden Falcons with 10 points.
