SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Felician women's basketball team lost its final game of the fall semester on Friday evening, falling to host Le Moyne College, 61-33, in non-conference action at Ted Grant Court.
Felician (2-8) shot 22-percent from the field, and was held without a three-point field goal in seven attempts. Le Moyne also won the turnover battle, committing 15 while helping force 24 from the Golden Falcons.
The Dolphins (5-5) limited Felician to four first-half field goals in taking a 26-13 halftime lead. Le Moyne then put the game way with a 22-6 run over the first 13 minutes of period two. Megan Murphy (Clinton Corners, NY) scored a game high 20 point for the winners. Dee Dee Smith (Monticello, NY) topped Felician with 10 points and teammate Janelle Biamonte (Secaucus, NJ) grabbed 10 rebounds.
