BLOOMFIELD, N.J. -- The Felician College volleyball team was defeated, 3-0 (30-22, 30-28, 30-19), by host Bloomfield College in the quarterfinals of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament on Tuesday night at B.C. Gym. Bloomfield (17-15) has won four of the last seven CACC championships, while Felician was making its first playoff appearance in program history.

Ursula Pereira (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) registered a match-high 23 kills and 15 digs for the Deacons, the top seeds from the CACC's North Division, who advance to Friday's semifinals. Bloomfield took control of the match when it scored eight consecutive points to erase a 26-21 deficit in Game 2, then held off the Golden Falcons for the two-game advantage. The Deacons had a 13-2 edge in service aces on the night.

North No. 4 seed Felician finishes its fourth varsity season at 6-23, a school record for victories. Senior Keisha Milstrey (Bronx, NY) paced the offense on Tuesday with 12 kills, and sophomore Nicole Degenhardt (Secaucus, NJ) accumulated 23 assists, five kills and seven digs.
