RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Bloomfield College volleyball team remained in first place in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division with a 3-0 (30-28, 30-25, 30-16) victory over host Felician College on Thursday night at Job Gymnasium.

Felician (3-18, 3-8) saved two game points in the opener before Bloomfield sophomore Ursula Pereira (Belo Horizonte, Brazil/Newark East Side) recorded her ninth kill of Game 1 to seal the win. The Deacons (11-15, 9-3) scored the last six points of the second game (four on Pereira kills), then jumped out to a 14-1 lead in Game 3 en route to clinching the match.

Pereira finished with 24 kills and 22 digs, and teammate Celeste Lindsey (Cincinnati, OH/Mt. Notre Dame) added 12 kills and seven blocks. Bloomfield setter Sonia Perez (San Jose, Costa Rica/Hackensack) accumulated 47 assists and 11 digs on the night. Keisha Milstrey (Bronx, NY/Lehman) led the Golden Falcons with 16 kills, and Nicole Degenhardt (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) recorded 35 assists and nine digs.
