 SMITH RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College volleyball team had a season-high .388 attack percentage in its 3-0 (30-22, 30-24, 30-18) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North Division victory over visiting Caldwell College on Thursday night at Job Gymnasium.
Felician (3-15, 3-6), a fourth-year program, established a school record for victories. The Golden Falcons also moved a half-game ahead of Dominican (N.Y.) College in the race for fourth place and the final playoff spot in the CACC North, as Dominican lost at Bloomfield College on Thursday. Eight league matches remain for Felician and seven for the Chargers.
Felician senior Dee Dee Smith (Monticello, NY/Monticello) recorded match highs of 22 kills and three blocks while hitting .514. Teammate Keisha Milstrey (Bronx, NY/Lehman) had 17 kills and six digs and hit .615. Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) accumulated 19 kills, 10 digs and three service aces for the Cougars (1-19, 1-8). |
