RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Mercy College won three tight games to earn a 3-0 (30-28 30-26 30-28) non-conference volleyball victory over host Felician College on Tuesday night at Job Gymnasium.
Directed by junior setter Trevene Smith (Old Harbor, Jamaica) (44 assists), the Mercy offense accumulated 57 kills in the three games. In Game 1, Felician (2-15) erased a 23-17 deficit to tie things at 26-26 before bowing. The Mavericks pulled away from a 25-25 tie to take the second game, and the Golden Falcons saved two match points before succumbing in Game 3.

Teammate Diana Bruzzone (Guayaquil, Ecuador) added 13 kills, seven digs and eight service aces. Keisha Milstrey (Bronx, NY) had 15 kills for the Golden Falcons.
