RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Felician College senior Paul Chegwidden (Hamburg, NJ/Wallkill Valley) has been named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Men's Cross-Country Athlete of the Week, the ECAC announced on Tuesday night.

Chegwidden won the Philly Metro Small College Invitational on Sept. 22 by 29 seconds, clocking a 27:03 for 8,000 meters. He also led the Golden Falcons to the team title in the event, which featured 19 schools and 150 individual entrants. He was named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference runner of the Week on Monday. The ECAC is the nation's largest athletic conference with 321 Division I, II, and III colleges and universities as members. It stretches from Maine to Georgia and westerly to Illinois.
