PHILADELPHIA -- Junior Amanda Scibetta (Middletown, NJ) and freshman Toni Fowler (Mount Holly, NJ) crossed the finish line almost simultaneously, leading the Felician women's cross country team to second place out of 18 teams in Saturday afternoon's Philly Metro Small College Invitational, hosted by Cabrini College at Belmont Plateau.

Scibetta placed sixth out ot 150 entrants, and was clocked at 20 minutes, 25.73 seconds for the 5,000-meter course. Fowler, in her third collegiate race, crossed 0.39 seconds later for seventh place. Also scoring for the Golden Falcons were freshman Sarah Root (Aberdeen, NJ) (17th, 21:19), senior Melissa Barroqueiro (Carteret, NJ) (23rd, 21:39) and sophomore Sophia Chick (Edison, NJ) (42nd, 22:27.)

Felician scored 95 points, 22 behind defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference champion Georgian Court University. Seven CACC schools attended the meet. Heather Miara of GCU was the individual champion in 19:38.
