WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Felician volleyball team lost both of its matches in the Assumption College Tournament on Saturday afternoon, falling in three games to Mercy College before concluding its tournament stay with a four-game setback to the host Greyhounds at Laska Gymnasium.

In the day's second match and Felician's first of the afternoon, the Mavericks earned a 30-16 30-20 30-17 victory behind 11 kills and eight blocks from Shedeiky Hamilton (Yallahs, Jamaica). Diana Bruzzone (Ecuador) registered 10 kills and 14 digs for Mercy, while junior Laura Peskosky (Clifton, NJ) had five kills and five blocks for the Golden Falcons.

Assumption (2-1) accumulated 129 digs in its 23-30 30-22 30-20 30-22 triumph over the Golden Falcons in the tournament's final match. Felician had a .263 attack percentage in winning the opening game but hit only .014 thereafter. Lauren Raswyck set an Assumption four-game match record with 45 digs and Courtney Stratton had 12 kills and 12 digs. Peskosky had seven kills and eight blocks and Erica Moore (Ridgefield Park, NJ) added 18 digs for Felician (0-3).
