8/31/07 WOMEN'S CROSS-COUNTRY - Felician Reaches South For Signees Print E-mail
RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Recent high school graduates Toni Fowler of Mount Holly, Kaitlyn Minehan of Ocean City, and Sarah Root of Aberdeen have signed national letters of intent to continue their cross-country careers at Felician College, Felician women’s head coach John Brennan announced today.

Fowler was a four-time all-conference runner and two-time team MVP at Rancocas Valley Regional. She was also all-conference in outdoor track. She expects to major in elementary education at Felician.

Minehan attained all-conference honors at Ocean City High, helping her team to a South Jersey championship. She also participated in swimming and track & field. She will study nursing.

Root was an all-county and all-area selection for Old Bridge High, and also participated in track. She was a member of Future Business Leaders of America. She will pursue a double major in education and history.

Felician, an NCAA Division II member, is coming off a second place finish in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Golden Falcons open their 2007 season on Saturday at the Monmouth Kickoff.
