RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Recent high school graduates Chris Harvey of Maplewood, Brenden Krewer of Farmingdale, and Jay Rodgers of Westmont have signed national letters of intent to continue their cross-country careers at Felician College, Felician men’s head coach John Brennan announced today.
Harvey attained all-conference and all-county status at Maplewood High, where he also participated in indoor and outdoor track & field. He is also a former member of the Jaguar Track Club. He intends to major in business administration at Felician.
Krewer was an all-conference honoree at Colts Neck High. In track, he was a three-time All-American, and holds the school record in the indoor 1,000 meters. He will study marketing.
Rodgers was an all-South Jersey selection at Haddon Township High, and was also a member of the swim team. He expects to study psychology.
Felician, an NCAA Division II member, is the three-time defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference champion, and has won five of the seven CACC team titles. The Golden Falcons open their 2007 season on Saturday at the Monmouth Kickoff.
