RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Patrick Snyder of Hamilton has been named the head men’s soccer coach at Felician College, director of athletics Ben DiNallo Jr. announced today.
Snyder has spent the last three years as an assistant coach at Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, which won the 2004 National Junior College Athletic Association national championship and was the national runner-up in 2006. In addition to player development, Snyder assisted with fund-raising, academic advisement and recruiting for the Vikings.
Prior to working at Mercer, Snyder was a volunteer assistant for two seasons at Delaware Valley College. He is also an assistant in the New Jersey Olympic Development Program at the U-14 level.
Snyder earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from The College of New Jersey in 2002. He will be taking on his first collegiate head coaching position, and is the third head coach in Felician history.
Felician is coming off a 3-11-3 season in 2006, including 2-3-2 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play. The NCAA Division II Golden Falcons qualified for the CACC Tournament for the eighth consecutive season. |
