BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Dowling College baseball team scored in all but one inning of its 23-8 non-league victory over Felician College on Monday afternoon at Lynn University.
Dowling broke open a 1-1 game with six runs in the top of the third inning, capped by a Frank Intagliata grand slam. The Lions (3-2) led 12-2 after five innings. Starting pitcher Brent Lotitio defeated Felician for the second time this season, allowing five earned runs on nine hits over seven innings.
Daniel Pembroke was 5 for 5 with a homerun and 4 runs scored and David Wendt also homered for Dowling. Ryan Grabowski went for 4 for 6. Kenny Vanderhee (Aventura, FL) paced the Felician offense, going 3 for 4 with a homerun. Ray Rose (Piscataway, NJ) was 2 for 5, including a two-run homer. Felician is 6-6. |
