Felician Athletics - 2/21/07 SOFTBALL - Golden Falcons Picked Sixth In CACC Preseason Poll

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Felician softball team was picked sixth in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference preseason coaches' poll according to voting released by the conference today.

Defending league champion Caldwell College and 2006 runner-up Dominican College garnered the top two spots in the poll and picked up 11 of the 12 first-place votes. The Golden Falcons received the other first place vote. Felician was 26-25 overall a year ago, finished third in the CACC Tournament, and was selected for the ECAC Division II playoffs.
