Felician Athletics - Position Openings

HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER

Full-time, 12-month position with benefits. Housed on Rutherford campus and reports to director of athletics. Main responsibilities include: oversight of day-to-day operations of athletic training room; prevention and treatment of athletic injuries/illnesses; athletic team coverage; maintenance of accurate reports and records; filing insurance claims and working with the team physician and department staff. Additional responsibilities include programming in life skills and wellness.

Qualifications: Requirements include a bachelor's or master's degree from an approved curriculum, NATABOC certification, New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners licensure or eligiblity, CPR/AED/FA certification, and the ability to work well with student-athletes and function effectively in a Catholic college environment. Previous experience in college athletics preferred.

ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER

Full-time, 10-month, entry-level position with benefits. Housed on Rutherford campus and reports to head athletic trainer. Main responsibilities include, but not limited to: general operation of athletic training room, athletic team coverage as assigned by head athletic trainer, maintenance of injury reports, and working in conjunction with head athletic trainer, team doctors, and coaching staff.

Qualifications: Requirements include a bachelor's or master's degree from an approved curriculum, NATABOC certification, New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners licensure or eligiblity, CPR/AED/FA certification, and the ability to work well with student-athletes and function effectively in a Catholic college environment.
