Felician Athletics - 2/13/07 BASEBALL - Felician Third In Preseason CACC Poll

RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Felician has been selected third in the 2007 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference preseason baseball coaches' poll, the conference announced today. The voting was done by the league's nine head coaches.

The Golden Falcons finished fifth in the regular-season standings last season before achieving a runner-up showing in the CACC tournament. They set a school record for victories with a 29-27 overall won-lost record, and went 15-12 in conference play.

Defending CACC champion Dominican College topped the poll and received eight first-place votes, with Felician receiving the other. The complete results are here.
