RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College will not renew the contracts of head men’s soccer coach Tony Scorciolla and assistant men’s soccer coach Mike Mueller, director of athletics Ben DiNallo Jr. announced today.

Scorciolla was the coach for 10 of the 11 seasons of the Golden Falcons’ existence, posting a won-lost-tied record of 87-87-13. He led Felician to two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament championships and two NAIA Regional titles, and his teams never missed the CACC playoffs in their eight years as league members. In 2006, the Golden Falcons went 3-11-3 overall and lost in the quarterfinals of the CACC Tournament.

Scorciolla coached Caldwell College for five seasons before coming to Felician, and was named CACC Coach of the Year in 1993. He has an overall collegiate record of 118-124-24.

Mueller was also non-renewed as Felician’s manager of athletic facilities. He was a member of the College’s inaugural men’s soccer team in 1996, and recently completed his eighth year on Scorciolla’s staff. He has also served the Golden Falcons as an assistant for golf and women’s basketball.
