Felician Athletics - 1/24/07 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College has decided to part ways with head women’s basketball coach Jay Latko effective immediately, director of athletics Ben DiNallo Jr. announced today. Latko is also no longer the College’s assistant athletics director for compliance.

Felician has 10 games remaining in the 2006-07 season. DiNallo will serve as the interim head coach for that stretch. DiNallo was the program’s head coach from 1998-2005.

Latko took over prior to the 2005-06 season when DiNallo resigned to devote more time to his director of athletics duties. The Golden Falcons are 1-19 overall and 0-12 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play heading into this evening’s game at Dominican (N.Y.) College.
