PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Philadelphia University shot nearly 61 percent from the floor in its 93-44 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's basketball victory over visiting Felician College on Saturday afternoon on McGee Court.

Philadelphia (10-5, 9-3) jumped out to leads of 15-4 and 27-8 en route to a 52-21 halftime advantage. The Rams shot 68 percent from the field, 94 percent at the foul line, and committed only three turnovers in the first period.

Meg Abele (11-13 FG, 5-5 3FG) scored 31 points and Alisha Ferguson (10-13 FG) had 28 points and 21 rebounds for the Rams. Dee Dee Smith (Monticello, NY) led Felician (1-19, 0-12) with eight points and eight rebounds.
