RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College will honor its three-time defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference champion men’s cross-country team during a ceremony at halftime of the home men’s basketball game against Nyack College on Thursday.
Under fifth-year head coach John Brennan, the Golden Falcons won the CACC men’s team title at the 2004 and 2005 league championship race at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, Pa., as well as this season’s at Carousel Park in Wilmington, Del. The championship banners from all three season will be hung in Job Gymnasium to commemorate that accomplishment.
Additionally, the 2004 team that began the “three-peat” will be presented its conference championship rings. Honorees include Brennan and assistant coach Sebastian Powell, plus the following student-athletes:
Thursday night’s game will begin at 8 p.m. or 20 minutes after the preceding women’s game versus Nyack, whichever comes later.
