PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia shot 57 percent from the floor and held visiting Felician College to 30-percent shooting in its 83-53 CACC men's basketball victory on Saturday afternoon at Morgan Arena.

USP (8-6, 5-3) outscored Felician, 17-4, over the last four minutes, 39 seconds, of the first half to turn a four-point lead into a 42-25 halftime advantage. Eric Cangelosi had eight points in the decisive spurt, including the first five. The Golden Falcons never got closer than a 15-point deficit in period two, with the final margin the Devils' largest lead of the day. The Devils owned a 48-34 rebounding advantage, including 37-18 on the defensive glass.

Cangelosi led four USP double-figure scorers with 18 points and added nine rebounds and six assists. William Kurtz made 4 of 7 three-point field goal attempts en route to 16 points. Michael Pierrot (Melville, NY) had game highs of 24 points and 11 rebounds for Felician (6-9, 4-5).
