PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Felician College women's basketball team was held to 24 percent shooting in its 74-42 CACC loss to host University of the Sciences in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon at Morgan Arena.
USP (8-6, 5-4), which never trailed, opened up a 13-2 edge in the game's first six minutes. It led by as many as 24 points in the first half before Felician pulled to within 38-20 at halftime. Still leading 43-25 with 17:59 to play, the Devils put the game away with a 13-2 run over the next five minutes.
Shelby Rance led all scorers with 17 poins for USP, which shot 43 percent and saw 12 different players score. Crystal Ferrer (Bronx, NY) had 12 points and seven rebounds for the Golden Falcons (1-17, 0-10). Felician forced 21 turnovers on the day, but committed 28 of their own. |
