RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Holy Family University men’s basketball team scored the final 10 points of its 79-69 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference men’s basketball victory over host Felician College on Thursday night at Job Gymnasium.

Felician (4-8, 2-4) tied the game for the 10th time on a James Harper (Eatontown, NJ) lay-up with 2:44 to play. The Golden Falcons, however, came up empty on their final four possessions of the game, and HFU scored each time, sandwiching eight perfect free-throw attempts around a London Houston (Philadelphia, PA) dunk. Felician had recovered from a 10-point first half deficit to tie the game, 39-39, at halftime, and led by as many as eight points in the opening minutes of period two.

The Tigers (8-3, 4-1) featured five double-figure scorers, led by 18 points from Raheem Scott (Philadelphia, PA). Edward Greene-Long (Winston-Salem, NC) had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Sydir Mitchell (Paterson, NJ) had 23 points and nine rebounds and Harper added 15 points for Felician.

HFU head coach Alfred Johnson earned his 100th career victory.
