CALDWELL, N.J. -- The Caldwell College men's basketball team outscored visiting Felician College, 25-7, in the first nine minutes, 16 seconds, of its 82-58 CACC victory on Tuesday night at the Newman Center.
Caldwell (5-1, 2-0) rode its hot start to a 46-25 halftime advantage. Felician twice got as close as a 13-point deficit in the second half, but the second time came with only 4:40 left to play, and the Golden Falcons never drew closer.
Jean Georges (7-11 FG) led all scorers with 25 points, including the 1,000th of his career, and nine rebounds for the Cougars. Michael Pierrot (Melville, NY) (seven rebounds) and Sydir Mitchell (Clifton, NJ) (six rebounds) scored 12 points apiece for the Golden Falcons (2-5, 2-2). |
