RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College women’s basketball team took a 48-21 halftime lead en route to a 74-54 non-conference victory over visiting Concordia (N.Y.) College on Tuesday night at Job Gym.

A lay-up by Amanda Bartee (Jersey City, NJ/St. Mary) capped a 30-3 run that gave Felician (1-5) its biggest lead of the game, a 42-11 edge lead with 5:45 to play in the opening period. The Golden Falcons, who never trailed, shot 58 percent in the first half and 51 percent for the night.

Junior Dee Dee Smith (Monticello, NY/Monticello) had 17 points and 10 rebounds and classmate Crystal Ferrer (Bronx, NY/Redemption Christian)14 points and 10 rebounds for Felician. Carisma Richmond (Bronx, NY/Redemption Christian) (6-9 FG) chipped in with 12 points and eight boards, as the Golden Falcons out-rebounded Concordia, 46-29.

Freshman Danielle McLaughlin (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic) scored a game-high 22 points, including four three-point field goals, for the Clippers (0-4).
