PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Despite an 86 from freshman Joseph Peters (Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Regional) in his collegiate debut, the Felician golf team lost its season opener to Philadelphia University, 358-435, on Wednesday afternoon at Torresdale Frankford Country Club.
Three out of the Rams' four scorers shot under 100, while Peters was the only Golden Falcon to do so. Philadelphia sophomore P.J. O'Brien was the medalist with a 79.
Freshman Rob Young (Glendale, NY/Cathedral Prep) shot 100 for Felician (0-1).
